Roses are red...
Lately I have been intrigued by hand made paper flowers.
And then I came across this fabulous tutorial from dozidesign.
It was soo tempting, I had to give it a try.
I did not have red paper. But what I had was a white paper (regular printing paper) and a red bingo marker.
So I ended up staining the paper on both sides, it took some time to dry up, and it was good to go. I remember I went to this garage sale of some factory, which was clearing up, and there I saw a bingo marker for the first time. And I was amazed, by its size. I asked the person selling it, how much...? and he said, just take it for free. Those were some samples which they never used. And I got a bunch of them. I just end up staining paper with it, making polka dots pattern or just having fun.

They turned out very nice. I remember seeing some beautiful crepe roses in another blog. I think the tutorial was from Martha Stewart. Also very pretty.
Hi Dida. Hope all is okay with you. How great that you are getting inspired by so many different things and everything you are doing is coming out beautifully. You have a lot of talent my dear. Have a great weekend and your paper flowers are beautiful. Oh yeah, and it's good that you recycle like you do.
